Unexpected Hit

Dear all, we have ourselves at Menara The Star @13 Mar 2010 for YES's Breakthru session. Still the same, everyone have their roles in the team. Some who's trying to know about our exact situation and some try to calm us down and put more confident to the teammates, the one who present try to chilled and he did presented very well that day (Steady and smart).
Good job GO Fun, you guys are the best =) However, after 59 and half hours suffering, the result is out. Haih.. How disappointing. :'( We'll never got the chance to put ourselves into the finalist anymore. Hope there is a miracle and when i'm awake, someone told me the result has changed or any situation that allowed us to pitch on the real pitch session.

It's painful but still, we have faith on our idea. Not giving up that easily. That's not our style also right? Just...we wish to know what turned us down. So that we could solve our problems and work on our weakness. Frankly speaking, I felt happy and envy of the teams who get themselves into the pitch. :) Grab your chance and get into the finalist!!
GO Fun will still running on the preparation for the next "surprise" platform that provided by MoneyTree for teams like us. I think this is going to be harder and more efforts required on this path that we've chosen to continue with. The reason is simply enough. We still believe in ourselves, aren't we ? =) Won't let go. (Except UV or Michael disqualify us =P )
From the breakthrough session, we managed to talk with Mr. Michael Reyes, Neil Walter and Dr. Siva. They are all very friendly and willing to give suggestion toward our business idea. Appreciate it very much. Hope to meet with you all again for our plan refinement or just chill out xP

Finally..Begin..Thanks..

Finally, the finalized elevator pitch and PowerPoint slides have already submitted. After few days of hard work, now we can finally take a short break to relax. Tonight, Mike will enjoy his night with his friends and the rest of us just have coffee ~ what a joyful night. (^.^) . Some good news come to us at the night and make it better, loaded with some bullets.

It’s never been easy to merge all our ideas and opinion as one. Fortunately, we have a bright leader, the only girl (sorry for didn't mention her name, coz we’ll get beaten up if we do so =.=”) who lead us effectively. Without wasting lots of time, we got a clear direction under the lead. Quite satisfy with the presentation slides. =P

I wish Saturday could come earlier [my teammate will kill me, muahaha]. Maybe it’s the feel of being prepared. All on you, Mike.

We are blessed to have such a challenge for us to perform and show some skills and abilities [Thanks to Maybank and MoneyTree]. I’m real blessed to be in this team [Thanks for all my people]. Thanks for having all your support either from MoneyTree, Supporters, and also Members of our Facebook group.

I had a real great day. How bout you?

OMG. This week is such an hactic week. our team have been running around like a headless chicken.... but we can see our result of hard effort. surveys getting done, supports on the way. and Presentation is getting ready. but we can't see our rapid growth in our blog. guess need to work in that...

Presentation is coming up soon. we are working hard on it. However, in my dictionary the RESULT is always important than PROCESS. I will do my best and i am quite sure that we won't be losing to any of our competitors. I am in a greatest team i have ever had in my life. Gary, Siew Yen, Yie Chun. i won't bring you guys down.

Finally we have our first discussion at SS15. What a great night.

Everyone contributed with their critical point and advice. That's really helpful ~

Just submitted our synopsis not long ago and now we’re preparing for our elevator pitch which will be use on the coming Saturday.

We knew it’s gonna be a tough fight after seeing what other participants of YES2 are doing.

However, this ain’t going to stop us to get more ‘bullets’ for the presentation.

I know, we’re on our way. Let’s do it!! ^^

Lucky People!

How was my story different with yiechun? I could only describe myself a lucky person!

Why would i say so? I'm Lucky caused I and my friends (includin Anggeline) didn't join other university college and we've choose Taylor's after completed our diploma.

Although it's tougher to being in a whole new environment, education system, lecturers and so on, I really glad that they gave us a lot of exposure to the real world environment.

We're so excited to approach the real world environment and grab every opportunities that we could.

Until almost ending of my first semester, there is one post in student portal caught my eye! Entrepreneur Challenge?? Trying to find out what's the differences with the other business plan competition out there..maybe the timing just wasn't right..I and Anggeline couldn't find team member, failed to figure an innovative business idea, etc. cut us down to take part in the YES Session one.

Until one day, again the student portal posted something interesting..MoneyTree 4 days Entrepreneur Program (summore sponsored by college) xD

Throughout the 4 days program, I get the idea that an entrepreneur wasn't necessary come up with whole-new, innovative kind of products or services. I met with some good people, Michael Reyes(Mike R), UV, Kah Tim, Yee Jin. I've really enjoy the time and still i could remember M.R. inspiring talk ^^

And I've been told that YES Session 2 is coming. I told myself, I must join this time no matter how difficult the situation is. The first person that I share the good news with is a friend of mine which has a great dream in his head too. When he got the idea that we can setup our business with investor support, I can see his eye shining! (Lol, he is yiechun =D)

Gosh, I really gotta say that I'm really lucky to have Anggeline (someone that will kick us if we didn't do our part properly). She will just make sure things go step by step (one and only pre-set in my team, at least I know I'm not neither MIKE LEE JW!) =P

So, after that we squeeze our brain to get another teammate. I thought of one of my fren =.=|| is that lucky or ?? He can definitely mixed with animals in the zoo but I can't guarantee that he'll follow our plan (Hyper Super Extreme Ultimate Random Guy). --> Mike Lee JW. which is still in AUS. when are you coming back ?!!!

Finally, we got our team. All us attended to one day fast track program. Guess who else was left out? =.=|| The guy who can't make himself to attend wasted his opportunity to meet UV, Brandon. The idols in MoneyTree ^^ Again the program help us a lot in getting some ideas.

Few days after, we meet up with Mike R to talk about some of our ideas. Of course, we get very helpful, reliable advices from them. Thanks again to Mike R, UV, & Brandon~So, we're on our way to get things better now =P

I'm just lucky to get such opportunity, lucky to get in my team, lucky to have great mentors, and I might not so lucky after my team found out i wrote this loooooooong post. I guess I should stop here and if possible I will share with you all again (If I didn't chop by them)~
